What started out as a beautiful hot sunny day, changed to bucketing down with rain just before the ceremony but Doug and Mikayla, the legends that they are, took it in their stride!

With a backup plan already in place by the wedding venue, Makoura Lodge in Fielding, New Zealand had everything setup and ready to go indoors for the ceremony.

Not many wedding parties are keen to go out in the pouring rain to get wet and have photos taken, but Doug, Mikayla and their wedding party, all went out without hesitation. (We even went off-roading to get up to the top of the ledge!)
